SMS Center Report Operator Interface A
CLIENT : Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. C
For viewing the data at SMSC through Remote Operator Interface or SMP. SMSC basically receives short message
from originating MS through MSC, IWMSC, then stores the message and then delivers the short message to the E
terminating MS.
The data SMSC includes short message for MS, PLMN specific data, system data, News letter subscription data, M
Traffic data etc. This large data needs to be managed by certain operators authorized by the service provider. Since
a mobile network spans across geographical areas so it is required to grant remote access to the operators. E
For the purpose of managing this data a service management point (SMP) is created through which the operators
get connected to the SMSC via a JDBC connection over the web request. N
