The inlet maniforld is of light alloy and with a water jacket to warm up the mixture. Petrol is pumped from the tank by means of two FISPA electric pumps. The tank is fitted with a float indicating the petrol ;level. ~he petrol filter 1s situated on the right hand side and immediately ill baok of-the electric pump and 1s fitted with an easily replaceable cartridge. ~ CarburatiaD is by means of three twin eber tyve 42DCOE3 with - echanical pump and atartre-r-.-;' ~ Carburettare t~(e in air ~hrough ODe larger filter fitted with a repla.ceable o~tr1dge.

LUBRICATIQN
~rc~~ irculation through all the main components of the engine, an4 is obtained by means o£ a rotor pump situated 10616.e the 'Bump. The pump suo-ks' all from the .sump,. passes it t.hr ougt a filter and then sende it to the components to be lubricated. To enst;U'-e low 011 temperature til. emaIl. helical pump, immersed in Oil'l a and driven by a V belt oirculatea the 011 through an oil radiator which 1s situated next to the water radiator. The oil filter is located on the right Bide of the engine block and is desmontable from undernea.th the oar. ~he normal 011 pressure froat.low to high revolutions is of 3 - 5 kilo p r sq. em. (80 ~ 100 Ibe. per sq. inch.) This pressure ls oontrolled b¥ me~ ~~ ressure relief valve installed in the oil f11 ter .mounting. 0111a -realaoed through the pipe union 8i tuated on the front of the oil cylinder head. The level 1s asoertained by means of a dipstick inserted in the pipe which is situated on the left hand of the sump under the . exhaust man1 fold.

SYSTEM

Engine cooling is obtained by c1rQulat~llg water with..,8oentrifugal pump and a fan driven directly from the engine shaft ,:by means of a V belt of variaol~ tension. Water flow through the radiator 1s regulated by means of a thermostat s1tuatedoD the cylinder head .. Thia thermostat fac;i.litates the warming up of the engine expacially when stal;'t1ng. The -temperature of the water is -meaBured by means of a.n indioator on the dash-board oDnnected to a thermoelectric bUlb, which is inserted into the upper part of the radiator. 'rhe temperature of the water should Dot exoeed 900 o. (1900 F.), The draining water tap is placed in the lower portion of the radiatoI'1o! Badiator oa.paoi ty 18- appr ox , 14 Ii ters.

IGNITION SYSTEM
The distributor is situated on the front r.1ght hand side of' the engine, driven by a pair af helicoidal gears and fed by a battery. The distributor is a MAREtLI ST 111 DTEM FrE. (DESTRO~ with automatic advanoe. The spark is set at 12° advance. Range of' automatic
