This bibliography has been prepared with reference to the cult film classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show in mind. All reference sources play upon themes presented in the movie musical. This particular bibliography’s sources are all government produced materials or websites, national and international, and some from out of this world. The purpose of this bibliography is to show the themes presented in The Rocky Horror Picture Show are not just that of Hollywood or some weirdo’s demented imagination, but that of reality. By designer, they mean genetically altering an embryo’s genetic blueprint to make it smarter, better looking, and disease free. Discusses the counter opinion of genetically altered embryo’s takes the human out of being human and the ethical dilemmas, such as the social divide of some being able to afford designer babies and others who would not. McCollough, James. “Genetic Engineering: Evolution of a technological issue.” 92-2 (1972). This is a paper from Crongress Session 92-2 (1972). It is a Committee Serial with analysis prepared by CRS for Subcom on Science, Research, and Development. This report reviews the genetics field since Mendel, and various other sciences and technologies associated with the developing field of genetic engineering, and growing societal concerns over the impact of making deliberate genetic changes in man and the ethical considerations of human reproduction research. Addresses the very specific aspect of cloning, namely where genetic material would be transferred from the nucleus of a somatic cell of an existing human being to an enucleated human egg with the intention of creating a child, or a grown man named Rocky Horror. Article discusses the possibility of life on other planets via new evidence suggesting that it might be true. Provides a brief background history, the current situation, and offers guidelines and resources for further research. This book is a report of a conference held in Washington, D.C., September 11-13, 1975. It discusses women’s rights, issues, legal status, laws, etc. I wonder if Magenta was on the same pay scale as her brother, Riff-Raff.
