China has 272 cities with over 1 million inhabitants. These centers of urbanization in recent years attracted the most experienced European companies in the Chinese market: they are not mistaken. It is to these destinations less saturated, where the central government has invested heavily funds in local development, where growth rates of consumption explode, and where there is a large pool of skilled human resources, they will find sources of growth.

2012'S NOVELTIES
New partner
The French Chamber will work with a new partner for this new edition. China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (hereinafter referred to as CICPMC) is a non-governmental organization approved by the State Council, registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and directly supervised by the Ministry of Commerce of the Peoples Republic of China and specially engaged in the work of multinational corporations in China. The current President of CICPMC is Mr. Zheng Wantong, state leader and Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Founded on January 1, 1993, CICPMC, conforming to the basic national policy of Reform and Openingup as a role to promote the growth and development of multinational corporations, and provided solutions to individual difficulties of many enterprises in their development by facilitating the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign corporations, relying on the support of the government, taking multinational corporations as the mainstay and offering services as its mission. CICPMC also submit important opinions and suggestions to the Chinese government and relevant ministries and commissions on issues concerning multinational corporations. CICPMC received care and support from the United Nations and Chinese party and state leaders in its development. Its current Chinese members are Top 100 Chinese companies such as Volvo, Lenovo, Wanda, Sinosteel, Petrochina.

New format
The operation will remain on 1.5 days but with a new organization to maximize business opportunities. One half day of conference, official meetings and welcome dinner One full day of business meetings

New process
The French Chamber and MOFCOM-CICPMC will work closely with companies to help them get the best out of the event. A meeting will be held before the event in order to understand the company objectives. After the event, a follow-up will be done both side (French and Chinese) and a report will be edited to indicate which channel to focus on to get the business done.

Industry oriented
The organizing committee will focus on cities core industries and opportunities to appeal the right companies and build an influential delegation.

Make the extra-mile

The French Chamber and MOFCOM-CICPMC will be able to provide assistance to close the deal with prospect thanks to its influence.*

According to Yangtze River Delta Regional Planning approved by State Council in June 2011, the role of Nanjing is to build advanced manufacturing base, modern service industry base, shipping and logistics centre, science and technology innovation centre of the Yangtze river area. Strong development of services industry with 50.7% of GDP from services, and the industry production of the tertiary sector increased by 13% in 2010. Consumption potential close to the first tiers cities with a per capita disposable income of urban residents of RMB28,312 in 2010 (11% more than that of 2009) and a total retail sales of consumer goods of RMB 226.78 billion in 2010, (+ 18.5% from 2009). Chengdu (Sichuan)

Capital city of Sichuan Province and one of the most important economic, transportation, and communication centers in Western China. China's state council has designated Chengdu as the country's western center of logistics, commerce, finance, science and technology, as well as a hub of transportation and communication. It is also an important base for manufacturing and agriculture. According to the 2007 Public Appraisal for Best Chinese Cities for Investment, Chengdu was chosen as one of the top ten cities to invest in out of a total of 280 urban centers in China. Capital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is the largest city in China's western interior and serves as a regional transport node and commercial centre. Second Eurasian continental bridge economic belt, it is the most important center of political, economic, trade, finance, information, tourism, science and technology, culture and education in western China. Strong development of services industry with 53% of GDP from services valued at RMB 69,5 billion (with 12,4% of increase), and the industry production increased by 12% to RMB 59,7 billion in 2010.
