Interview Etiquette Before the Interview First impressions are lasting impressions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Brush your teeth and use a mouthwash. Your hair should be clean and combed. Nails should be clean and trimmed. Men need to shave( in case you are not keeping a beard) Men can look their professional best wearing one of the formal dress (jeans, casuals, t shirts, sports shoes are a big NO). Shirts should be clean and ironed. Women can look their professional best with business attire( properly cleaned & ironed)

6. Your shoes should be clean and/or shined. 7. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your interview. The extra minutes will also give time to fill out any forms or applications that might be required. 8. Take a hard copy of your CV, print out of the interview letter & all the documents as listed in the interview letter as they are mandatory from the company side in a plastic folder. 9. Always look at the company website to know more about the company you intend to join & ask for the job description(JD) from the consultant to have clarity regarding new job responsibilities. 10. Don't take your cell phone with you during the interview in general mode. If you have to have your cell phone, turn the phone off or in silent mode. Do not put your cell phone on vibration mode. Switch on immediately after the end of all rounds of the interview. 11. Read your CV carefully before the conduction of interview.
