Harris broadcast Sent: May 12, 2012 8:39 AM Your client has now run a second and third piece on Mr. Harris and mentioned my letter and its content in a misleading way yet it is not posted online like you said it would be. Mr. Halsne said in his piece aired at 6:00 last night that "The father of the boy in our video says has concerns about what he saw in our report last night. He says he's called the school today demanding answers". Why doesn't Mr. Halsne state what those concerns are? That he did not want his child's face on the nightly news. That he wanted his child's face blurred and for him to remain anonymous. That KIRO only complied after he, the Mother and the School District made a pointed specific request to KIRO. That he didn't want his child surreptitiously videotaped. The parents of the boy are not in the least concerned with Mr. Harris' actions. Mr. Halsne knows that because they told him. Prior to the airing of the full piece. As explained by the boys Mother in the third piece aired at 11:00 last night Mr. Harris acted with common sense in breaking up a school yard fight and she appreciates his actions. When might we expect our letter to be posted? When might we expect full, fair and truthful reporting? Why would your client ruin a man's life? Just for ratings? Just because they can?
