What has changed in the new GCS FTP Server?
With the new tsftp.informatica.com, you will now have a web interface to upload and download files, to and from the server. The new server now supports the following transfer protocols: FTP/FTPS HTTP/HTTPS SFTP

Whats New with TSFTP?


Some of our new features include: Privacy and confidentiality with end-to-end encryption and non-repudiation when uploading and downloading using the web interface. Alert notifications on successful uploads No more remembering of Project numbers and traversing through "Project folders". Every user will upload files into their Home directory. End user interface available in English, German, French and Spanish File integration checking and guaranteed delivery when files are transferred through the new web-interface.

Have my login credentials changed?


No, there will be no change in the credentials. You can continue to use your existing credentials.

What happened to the Project folders?


As mentioned earlier, we have made the file transfer experience extremely simple. Every customer who logs in will have an associated Home directory and will have to upload the files requested by GCS in that directory.

Will my project read-write contacts be able to access the contents in my home directory?
No, only you will have read, write and delete permissions on your home directory.

What happened to the Updates folder?


The Updates section of the tsftp server remains the same. It will continue to host all the EBF and product updates.

Should I always use the web interface or can I use our own home grown FTP clients?

It is recommended to use the TSFTP Web UI as it guarantees the integrity of the files uploaded. However, all other FTP clients are also supported.

What are the supported browsers?


Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 (Windows only) Mozilla Firefox 3.6, 4.0 and 5.0 (Windows, Mac and RedHat Linux) Chrome 13.0 and above (Windows only) Safari 4.0 and 5.0 (Mac only)
