In order to use the DVD-Rom one must have a DVD-Rom reader and Windows 95/NT or higher. Once opened, one can choose which directory to explore via the Windows E xplorer tool. ________________________________________________________________________________ __ 2. Contents The contents of the DVD-Rom are a part of the book itself, as a support tool for understanding the subjects better. The DVD-Rom contains many of the images cont ained in the book. They are in .jpg format at a high resolution. This format is natively supported by Windows. Also, there are many animations in the .mov forma t which can be viewed with the program Apple QuickTime (http://www.apple.com/qui cktime/). The structure of the DVD folders is very simple. It has been divided in chapters in a progressive manner.
