Honoring Chipper
Commemorative bases are being used during this series to salute the career of retiring Braves 3B Chipper Jones...
one of those bases will be presented to Jones during a ceremony prior to tonight's game...the Reds Hall of Fame
and the Braves also will receive a game-used base...Reds 3B Scott Rolen and President of Baseball Operations
and General Manager Walt Jocketty will participate in this evening's ceremony.
TONIGHT'S GAME: Is Game 4 (3-0) of a 4-game series vs Chipper Jones' Braves and Game 4 (3-0) of a 7-game
homestand that also includes an upcoming 3-game weekend set with the Rockies...beginning Monday the Reds hit

HISTORIC: According to Elias Sports Bureau, in the 9-6 win on 5/13 vs Wsh Joey Votto became the first player in
Major League history to produce in the same game 3 home runs and a walkoff grand slam (off Henry Rodriguez)...
in tying the club record for homers in a game - accomplished 33 times now by 27 players - Votto became the fifth
player in Reds history to produce more than one 3-homer game: Johnny Bench (3 times), Gus Bell (twice), Eric Davis

John Reilly, have been announced as the Reds Hall of Fame Class of 2012...Casey was selected by the fans through
the modern player ballot presented by Cincyfavorites.com...the veterans committee selected Driessen and Reilly...the
trio will be honored June 22-24 during Reds Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.
THE DRAFT: On June 4, Major League Baseball's first-year player draft will be broadcast live at 7:00 p.m. ET on MLB
Network and MLB.com (pre-draft show begins at 6:00)...2012 Reds Hall of Fame inductee Sean Casey will the club's
representative...the Reds will select 14th, 49th (as compensation for the loss of Type B free agent Ramon Hernandez
