In this workshop the students will meet at the aspects of the ocean. Children will enjoy a close encounter with many exotic marine wildlife. The Aquarium is the inspiration for this course. Students will create fun underwater sea inspired drawings. Making Paper Workshop

Learn about recycling by making recycled paper! Students will work with blenders and decals to make pulp, form the paper and press out new pencil shavings to the pulp mixture to create an original piece of handmade paper. The students can come and hang out for a fun day with their friends and learn how to tie-dye shirts and make them look fun for summer. Using crazy fun summery rainbow colors to make cool looking designs on t-shirts for a tie-dye look. Students will need to bring a white t-shirt to class which they will use to tie-dye. About the 2012 Summer Workshops
The Art Outreach Gallery’s 2012 Summer Workshops begin Monday, June 25 through Saturday, July 14, 2012. The Gallery will host a three week series of expressive workshops designed to enthuse and educate preschool through 12th grade students in the visual and language arts. These happy, healthy workshops are created by area art educators, art education students and students dominating their topic. Due to generous donations, students will enter classes with only a donation of a nonperishable food item to Second Harvest Food Bank. The classes are not free to the students; the students will be giving back to the community by making a donation. Some workshops take place at the Art Outreach Gallery and other workshops take place at the Eastwood Mall Equarium located in center court. Check out all workshop details inside this Summer Workshop program. Some classes are limited so be sure to register early! To register, submit your completed registration form to the Art Outreach Gallery or to the Eastwood Mall customer service center. You may also fax the registration form to 330-544-5929.
