AUTO ENTWURF

AUTO ENTWURF or designing motor part(s) is a basic DESIGN event. Etymologically, the verb DESIGN is derived from the prefix de and the Latin verb signare which means to mark or sign. The word DESIGN is about the derivation of something that suggests the presence or existence of a fact, condition or quality. DESIGN is a conceptual activity involving formulation of ideas which are intended to be expressed in a visible form or to be carried into action. It is all about

conceptualization,

imagination, interpretation. It provides the spark of

an idea and the formation of a mental image. It is about the primordial stage of capturing, conceiving & outlining the main features of a plan.

THE EVENT
The event tests your DESIGNING skills by designing or creating various 3D models in limited time. The required problem statement will be given on the spot. There will be three rounds viz. 1. Basic 2. Normal 3. Advanced In the BASIC round each participant will have to make a SIMPLE 3D model within the given STEP & TIME limit. In the NORMAL round participant will have to form a SIMPLE machine part (motor part, or may be any other) with proper assembly and mechanism(s). In the ADVANCED round the selected participants will have to form a COMPLEX machine part with proper assembly, mechanism(s) & drawings.

RULES:*This in an individual event 1. Judges decision will be final decision & it will not be challenged. 2. The participants who clear the previous round(s)will only qualify for the next. 3. Any unfair means will lead to disqualification. 4. Once the work started, discussions between the participants will not be allowed. 5. The participants must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition. Judges reserve the right to disqualify any participant indulging in misbehaviour.

6. Desktop computers once provided will not be changed in any case. And the participant will solely be responsible for any damage if occurs during the event. Personal PCs or laptops are not allowed. 7. The organizers reserve all rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.

OBJECTIVE:
This invite the mechanical brains to come and show the power of mechanchees. What we are looking for is not a spark in an engine, just a little one in the heads.
Improving the students imaginative and creative skills as well as improving their ability to handcraft objects and models would be the prime motive of the competition. Our main emphasis will be on highlighting the benefits to be gained by students by participating in Auto Entwurf competition, which includes: 1. Improved imaginative skills. 2. Analyzing and understanding dimensions (useful in CAD, DWG and other software for mechanical and industrial engineering). 3. Improved handcrafting skills.

ELIGIBILTY:All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes and also their Aranya registration cards are eligible to participate.
