No Dreams, No Future

Hello mom, my name is Nurina Jatiningsih but my friends usually call me Rina. Im one of the denizens in class 3C. According to the title No Dreams, No Future I believe every person have a dream. Dream is the beginning of all the things we do, it is our motivation because without it we are not eager to achieve what we want. Having dreams like knitting purpose of our life. However, the dream should not just flower bed that when we wake up, we lose all these dreams. In my opinion, dream is the target / goal to be realized, and my plan after graduating from SMF is part of a series of my dreams. So, let's see my plans. By the way, before telling about my plans after Ill graduate from SMF, Ill share to you a little story. Time goes so fast, it has been nearly 3 years I studying at SMF, and momentarily Ill leave it. There are many sad, scared, happy stories and even humorous colored my days. Im unhappy when our beloved teacher (Bp. H. Muh Mustamir Ibnu H) faced the God when the examination of academic year 42 will be held. I feel scared when my teachers grumbles always echo in my ears during I am practicing of prescription or chemistry. I am happy when hanging out with my friends, but I almost be bitten by geese when I was on the way to visit the house of villages head when I join PKL. Everything is still remembered clearly in my memories. Because not long after ward Ill graduate, I feel so sad. But it is covered with what I get after graduating later. Talking about graduation, there are many feeling in every students of High School or Vocational School. We are glad, because well pass soon, or we are sad because we do not know what to do after graduating. Luckily, for vocational students, after graduating they can work soon or continue their studies. Its different from high school students, their choice after graduating is only join the college because they are not supported with applicative skill such as in vocational school. Besides that, its lucky for me, because I attend Pharmacy High School that is one of the promising schools after graduating. There are many choices after graduating

such as working, continuing the college, or maybe getting married. After graduating I want to work because I think working means that I can get money, and help my parents especially from the financial aspect. Understandably, I am not from a wealthy family, yeah including the middle economic families. My father retired long time ago, and now he plants vegetables in our garden, while my mother is a housewife. Luckily, now my brother has apprentice so he can help our family. Not only that, if I already have an income, I can help my neighbors who need help because I am very concerned about those who are really rich and have stable income havent awareness to help others. My desires are more and more motivating me to study hard in order to pass in satisfying grades and get good job. There are many alternatives of job after graduating: working in hospital, dispensary, clinic, PBF (Merchant of Pharmacy) or pharmaceutical companies. In percentage, my option of job is like this: 50 % I want to work in hospital, 30 % in PBF/pharmaceutical companies, and 20 % in dispensary. In addition, in my spare time, I want to join foreign language courses, to increase my capability in that field. Understandably, now we are required to master foreign languages to facilitate communication with outside world. Then, after working for about 1 year, I also have a plan to study in college. Yeah, I want to taste the academic association in college environment. Maybe, this will sound strange, because if I join university I wont take the same major (that is: pharmacy). Why is so?? Surely, this question will arise for those who hear it. Frankly, the target that I want to learn on the bench of college is not on pharmacy. There are choices of major that I want to enter: 1. Medical 2. Nursing 3. Nutrition 4. Psychology 5. Natural medicine Actually, I have many friends who ask me about my plans of study after graduating and some of them say like this: LohRin, why dont you take major in pharmacy in order to deepen your knowledge? I was rushed to respond, I think by

taking a different major, knowledge Ive gained will increase. So, not only focus on one area (that is: pharmacy). Anyway, after graduating from SMF, we can take a major besides pharmacy, in fact there is alumnus who take major in accounting. Besides, the knowledge I got during I study in SMF is more than enough to be applied in life. In my mind, there are still many sciences again in this universe and waiting to be studied. Like the meaning of blue color of SMFs symbol which means we have to learn as high as the skies and as deep as the ocean. Or like saying Belajarlah kamu sampai ke negeri Cina! which means we must demand the highest science. Furthermore, I also want to establish a library at home because I see the potential of children who live in my village is huge. In the library, the children and my neighbors could come to play while learning, so their spare time is spent not only to play but also to add their insights. Actually, there are still more thousands of plans that I want to do after graduating from this beloved school. I feel everything is arranged neatly in my life map: graduating, working, helping my parents and others, establishing library, and many more. Yeah, that is some of my plans after graduating from SMF and my expectation is simple, all of my plans that have arranged can be realized. What I get will be beneficial for my self and others. I analogize my desires are like a honey bee which process the pollen of a flower to be delicious honey useful to humans. Then, from a flower it flies and lands again in another flower and repeats the same process throughout its life. Well, thats some of my plans after graduating from Pharmacy High School, we know there is no ivory that is not cracks, and I believe there are still many shortcomings in the writing and spelling. Im so sorry. Thanks so much for your attention Mom. See you
