ISSUE 08 June 2012 Dear LSR Member, Hope you’ll all recovered from the long weekend which might have more busy for you than the usual week from some of the stories I’ve been hearing of your Jubilee celebrations :) Here’s what’s coming up... We’re bringing together some key experts next week on Wednesday 13 June in our Masterclass who every startup *should* always speak to as they get up and running, but often don’t because of time and other things getting in the way. This is a Masterclass for anyone who is not going to be working alone on their projects! We’ll be going over ways you can ensure that no one runs off with your code and IP, how you can legally check thoroughly on potential co-founders and candidates to save yourself a lot of hassle later. We’ll also be getting data on the rates you should be paying those all important developers and senior staff to get them interested in your startup and keeping them working hard for you, plus how to structure equity packages carefully for both yourself and the company. RSVP here to attend 3-6pm at Innovation Warehouse on 13 June. Jobs on TechStartupJobs Many new and incredibly interesting jobs have been posted on techstartupjobs.com lately so if you’re interested in any of these, you can browse the opportunities, upload your CV or contact naz[at]techstartupjobs[dot]com who is helping a number London startups find their new hires. That’s all this week, enjoy your (only 2 day) weekend! Olga olga[at]techmeetups[dot]com
