Are You Desperate?
WHEN you’re deep in trials, you get a bonus gift: Humility. This gift called humility is worth all the gold in the world. Humility is acknowledging your desperation for God. And it’s only in desperation where you become open to all of who God is. You are sick, and you need a Physician. You are a sinner, and you need a Savior. You are a disciple, and you need a Lord. You are clay, and you need a Potter. You are a child, and you need a Father. You are in need of a miracle, and you need a miracle worker! Humility is the mother of all virtues because it unleashes all other virtues. Through humility, we become open, teachable, and welcoming. We embrace God’s miracles in our life. Through your trials, you are brought closer to God. BRO. Bo Sanchez is sending inspiring messages and announcements to Feast attendees via text or short messaging services (SMS) from his mobile phone and through email. that? Isn’t there anything more priceless than Enjoy the Feast today! May your dreams come true,

Bouncing Forward + Failing Godward

Thomas Edison> “There is great value in disaster. All our mistakes are burnt up. Thank God we can start anew.” 2Cor:4-7 > Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 1Peter5:10-11> The God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory through Christ Jesus, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you after you have suffered a little. To Him be dominion forever. Amen.

Bounce Godward! Successful people don’t do great things, they only do small things in a great way. They succeeded in spite of problems, not in the absence of them. But to the outside world, it appears as though they just got lucky. • Colonel Sanders, at age 65, with a beat-up car and a $100 check from Social Security, realized he had to do something. He remembered his mother’s recipe and went out selling. How many doors did he have to knock on before he got his first order? It is estimated that he had knocked on more than a thousand doors before he got his first order. How many of us quit after three tries, ten tries, a hundred tries, and then we say we tried as hard as we could? • As a young cartoonist, Walt Disney faced many rejections from newspaper editors, who said he had no talent. One day a minister at a church hired him to draw some cartoons. Disney was working out of a small mouse¬ infested shed near the church. After seeing a small mouse, he was inspired. That was the start of Mickey Mouse. • Henry Ford forgot to put the reverse gear in the first car he made. • One day a partially deaf four year old kid came home with a note in his pocket from his teacher, “Your Tommy is too stupid to learn, get him out of the school.” His mother read the note and answered, “My Tommy is not stupid to learn, I will teach him myself.” And that Tommy grew up to be the great Thomas Edison who had only 3 months of formal schooling…

Continuation... In 1914, Thomas Edison (Tommy), at age 67, lost his factory, which was worth a few million dollars, to fire. It had very little insurance. In spite of disaster, three weeks later, he invented the phonograph. What a great bounce! All success stories are stories of great failures. The only difference is that every time they failed, they bounced back. That’s failing forward, rather than backward. You learn and move forward. God created you to bounce. Learn from your failure and keep moving. Below are more examples of the failures of successful people: • Thomas Edison failed 10,000+ times while he was working on the light bulb. • Henry Ford was broke at the age of 40. • Lee Iacocca was fired by Henry Ford II at the age of 54.

• Young Beethoven was told that he had no talent for music. • Babe Ruth struck out 1,330 times… on his way to the Hall of Fame. • Elvis Presley after one performance was told: “You ain’t goin’ nowhere, son.” • Oprah Winfrey was fired from her TV job and advised: “You’re not fit for TV.” You’re writing your story… You’re God’s Beloved! God is in you! You’re God’s Champion! Bounce Godward! Shine His Light! Have a fantastic Feast! In Christ, Bro. Eng (‘wag uulitin) Feast Builder, Valenzuela

Novena to God’s Love
Today, I receive all of God’s love for me Today, I open myself to the unbounded, limitless, overflowing abundance of God’s universe. Today, I open myself to God’s blessings, healing, and miracles.

Today, I open myself to God’s Word so I would become more like Jesus every day Today, I proclaim that I am God’s beloved, I am God’s servant, I am God’s powerful champion. And because I am blessed, I am blessing the world in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let Your Trials Bring You Closer To God
Psalm 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word. It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. Proverbs 20:30 Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways. James 1:2-3 When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience. 1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Talk 3: Bounce Forward
Romans 5:3-4 We can rejoice when we run into problems... they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. Personal Reflection and Group Discussion: Have you become a better person because of your past trials? In what way? ___________________ ___________ ______________________________ ____________ __________________ ______________________________ _____ _________________________ ____________________________ __ ______________________________ _____________________ _________ ______________________________ ______________ ________________ ______________________________ _______ _______________________ ______________________________ ______________________________ _______________________ _______ ______________________________
