Education
Carleton University, Ottawa ON 2007-2012 School of Journalism and Communication, Bachelor of Arts (High Honours) in Communications and Human Rights (Dean’s List 2009-2012, Baldwin Scholarship Recipient 2007, 2009-2012, Ontario Scholar) This degree has helped foster an understanding of communications theory and an awareness of communications media and its impact on society. It has also led to an appreciation of the political, economic and social causes of human rights which explain the emergence of diversified rights as claimed, resisted, adopted and violated. Many of the courses emphasized my keen interest in the development of law, policy, and social relationships within domestic and international political regimes. References readily available.
