Wessex Archaeology and 1st Rifles Saturday 21st July 10am-4pm
Discover Anglo-Saxon burial mounds and ancient artefacts being excavated as part of Operation Nightingale, an army rehabilitation programme for soldiers wounded in Afghanistan. Explore the real-life archaeological dig on Salisbury Plain Training Area and take part in hands-on activities for the whole family.

Event minibuses will run from Salisbury, Tidworth and Bulford to site. This event is FREE but booking is essential. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. More information at www. florence.opnightingale.co.uk/BFoA
