From the Enhance menu, select 'Convert to Black and White'. Select 'Urban Snapshot' from the drop down box. From the File menu, save as a Photoshop document. Place the image somewhere easily found like the desktop. From the Edit menu, select 'Revert' to return your image back to the original form. From the Layers palette, click on the 'dog-eared' icon to add a new layer. From the toolbox, click on the 'Brush' tool. Find a tattoo brush from the Deviant Art Website. Make sure it is in the .abr format. From the Options bar, select the drop down box next to the brush size. Select the double-right hand arrows and select 'Load Brush'. Select the .abr file you saved from the Devian Art Website. Select a brush with the tattoo you want to use. Hover the brush over the picture and adjust the size using the [ ] bracket keys. Reset your default colours by pressing 'D' on your keyboard. Make sure black is in the foreground and click once on image to place the tattoo in your picture. From the toolbox, select the 'Move' tool. Turn and resize the tattoo to the desired size. If you don't see the bounding box, tick the 'Show Bounding Box' icon. Click the green tick mark or press enter to finalise change. Make a selection from the tattoo by cmd/ctrl clicking on 'Layer 1' Click on the foreground color and choose a greenish turquoise colour. From the edit menu, select 'Stroke' and enter 2 px for the size and outside for location. The turquoise colour should already be selected. press ok. From the Filter menu, select 'Distort' then 'Displace'. Leave the scale at 10, 10, Stretch to Fit, and Wrap Around. Select 'ok' then navigate to the file you saved at the beginning of this tutorial. From the Filter menu, select 'Blur' then 'Gaussian Blur'. Input 1.2 to 2 in the radius. From the Enhance menu, Select 'Adjust Lighting' then 'Levels' or press cmd/ctrl-L. Slide the black Output Levels slider to the right to lighten the tattoo. From the Layers palette, adjust the opacity down to your liking.
