Equestrian Eventer Jordn Linstedt and Jordn Linstedt Eventing Team Riders Sweep Top 10 Scores at Inavale Horse Trails
REDMOND, Wash. June 27, 2012 Equestrian eventer Jordn Linstedt of Redmond, WA and her Jordn Linstedt Eventing Team riders scored top placements in the Inavale Farm Horse Trails on June 22-24, 2012 in Philomath, OR. Linstedt, 24, and all participating Jordn Linstedt Eventing Team riders finished in the top 10 in each of their respective classes from Beginner Novice to Intermediate levels. Linstedt, riding her nine year old Hanoverian named RevitaVet Capato in his fourth Intermediate level competition, came in sixth place after a beautiful dressage test and cross country run followed by a clear stadium jumping round. As a premier three-day equestrian event in the Pacific Northwest featuring dressage, cross country and stadium jumping, the Inavale Horse Trials attracted over 300 top riders and horses. Recognized by the US Eventing Association (USEA), Inavale brought strong competition for the team. Jordn Linstedt Eventing Team riders placed in the top 10 including a first place finish for Molly Gibbons and Columbus in Training Rider Junior 1. Gibbons and Columbus were standing fourth after dressage. With a double clear cross country and show jump round, the pair finished with scores of 31.4 in each event to take home the blue ribbon. Maggie Fearon and Caxton Star placed fourth in Training Rider Senior 1. This was Fearons first Training level event and proved to be an extremely difficult one as half the field did not complete. The course was no trouble for Fearon, and the pair moved up the ranks after a double clear cross country and show jump round to finish fourth overall. Sophie Fearon and Tavien finished eighth in Novice Rider Junior 3. In her first recognized event, Rachael Burch placed fourth with her mount Bella in Beginner Novice Junior 2. Inavale was the first recognized event that Sydney Rice and her four year old Party Like a Rock Star completed finishing ninth in Beginner Novice Caption: EventerJordnLinstedt and Revitavet Capato Junior 1. Sara MacKenzie and Just in Time, her four with an Intermediate level clear stadium jumping round at the Inavale Horse Trials.Photo: Tim year old off the track thoroughbred (OTTB), had a O'Neal,ActionTaken.com beautiful dressage test putting them in third before cross country. With a tough course, they picked up 20 penalty points and placed eighth overall in Beginner Novice Senior 1. The teams success at Inavale this early in season proves the dedication that each rider has, and the scores will only continue to get better throughout the season, said Eventer Jordn Linstedt. We will continue to widen our success as we move deeper into the 2012 competition season. Im very happy with Capato as this was only his fourth Intermediate event. John Camlin and I talked about using

Inavale as a schooling round for Rebecca Farms in Kalispell, MT next month. I had a plan and stuck to it. I didnt run for time but wanted a good educational run for Capato. Linstedt and RevitaVet Capato recently moved up to the USEA Intermediate level in May 2012. Last year, the pair was ranked sixth overall nationwide in the USEAs Preliminary level following a ninth overall ranking in Training level for 2010. In 2011, Linstedt and RevitaVet Capato were named Horse and Rider of the Year in Area VII. The Inavale Horse Trials add a key success to Linstedts successful 2012 competition season to date. Linstedt and Tullibards Hawkwind, her 12 year old 17.3 hand Irish Sport Horse, completed their first CCI**** (CCI four star) event with a top 30 finish at her Rolex debut in the 2012 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event in Lexington, KY in April. Linstedt was the only Pacific Northwest rider to take part in the 2012 Rolex event and competed against 59 of the best riders from around the world. The Rolex event is the most competitive three-day event held in the United States and the only CCI**** event in the United States. This spring's Rolex hosted riders from the United States 2012 Olympic Equestrian Team as they prepare for this summers Olympics in London. Linstedt and Tullibards Hawkwind are the USEA Stars of the Month for June and are featured on the USEA website at http://useventing.com/news/stars-month-full-interview-jordan-linstedt-and-tullibardshawkwind.
