UMTS. Other rows in the file contain the cell definitions. the values are bounded by ±90° and ±180° each.1 MANDATORY CELL PARAMETERS Parameter System Keyword SYSTEM Type String Description AMPS. Keywords are separated with semicolon or tabulator character. String type is defined as a set of any printable ASCII characters except semicolon. 2 PARAMETERS 2. Positive longitudes are east of Prime Meridian. float and string. Latitude and longitude are usually expressed in that sequence. GSM. For both site and cell information. Float type is defined as a numeric value with dot character. latitude before longitude. and GPS devices. Latitude of the site in degrees. Positive latitudes are north of the equator. The file format supports three data types: integer. TDMA. TETRA. CDMA. EVDO or LTE. and seconds (DMS). negative latitudes are south of the equator. Each line describes one cell and contains a set of parameters describing the cell as well as the site in which the cell resides.1 GENERAL STRUCTURE The first row of the file contains the keywords that define the order of the parameters in the following lines. TD-SCDMA. minutes. there are both mandatory parameters and optional parameters. As with latitude and longitude. Name of the cell. Integer type is defined as a numeric value without dot character. WIMAX. Name of the site. Decimal degrees are an alternative to using degrees. . Site and cell parameters are separated with semicolon or tabulator character. Site Name Cell Name Latitude Longitude SITE CELL LAT LON String String Float Float Decimal degrees (DD) express latitude and longitude geographic coordinates as decimal fractions and are used in many Geographic Information Systems (GIS). negative longitudes are west of the Prime Meridian. web mapping applications such as Google Maps.
