Step 22 Re-introduce mt, work 7mc, 1mt 1 ms, repeat in a spiral all around. Step 23 Swap to size 3.5 mm hook, for the next several rows continue the pattern of 7mc, 1ms, 1mt in a spiral; I have 12 rows. Step 24 Repeat last row until desired length, cut off ms and mt and work over them, 1 row of mc all round of the brim of the hat. Cut off mc and weave end of yarn into the fabric. Optional: Make two flowers to decorate the hat.
