There was nothing she was left without since her father was a wealthy merchant. But she grew severely tired of her lifestyle. It was stale, unchanging and she wasn't willing to be the wife of another successful man either. She started out small in her change of lifestyle. A petty thief. She had no use of whatever she took, but it was thrilling. She often found people to commission her to steal for them. Aside from her musical pursuits, she had a talent for sneaking around. However, when her father found out she was given the option of leaving the household or there would be consequences. Senritsu stood her ground so as a part of an agreement she was traded off to Orochimaru for what she had done. Early teen years- She held great hatred to her father for putting her in such a place. But being there, she shortly discovered her true talents. Her small hobbies of songs became her forte' as experiments heightened her abilities. Combining her previous experience with thievery and her voice into sounds jutsus was a very effective combination. Once again however, she found the life to be dull. She had only stayed at the time being for less than a year, training honing in on her abilities and talent. Orochimaru then decided to take the experiments to the next level, that she would receive the curse seal. Senritsu however wasn’t foolish, she knew what the curse seals did. She had seen them first hand. When they least expected it, she took off and had escaped. Not without a struggle, but she managed to use every technique she could to hide away. She spent what time she could from then on living an easier life. She would travel from town to town, and different lands to earn money from her performances and even gambled. She often had trouble with anbu and other jo-nin trying to bring her in from her association with Orochimaru. Yet she always managed to slip away with ease and move on to the next town. Late teens- She had become much more content with her lifestyle, but she took her lifestyle up a notch. From scamming young men to buy for her and performing, she became a notorious thief using a mask of the anbu she last encountered. Whatever she stole she always pawned for her “paycheck”. Sometimes she even stole when someone commissioned her. Hence her name “Senritsu” came to be, for her songs would be the very shroud she would need to make her escape. She took pride in her voice and loved her feeling of freedom, that no one could stop her and if they attempted to do so she could put them in their place. With a smile on her face, she often hid the deep scars of the treachery from her past events, but she loved to face the new day. However, when she was at the age of 19, she encountered the Akatsuki on the way to another village. They were well informed of her abilities, her alias, her past with Orochimaru, and even her true lifestyle as a thief, killing any who stood in her way. She was good. But clearly not good enough since her genjutsu was useless against Itachi. She was caught in his first, without even realizing it. Her ignorance of the Uchiha blood and the sharingan got the best of her. That seeped under her skin. She couldn’t stand the idea that he was far stronger than her, that his kekkei genkai was what made him superior. She was put under tests, experiments to amplify her voice. Her voice was unlike any other, but she still had to train that voice. Her songs to her were perfected, but a visual genjutsu? All it takes is one glance. Nonetheless, Senritsu agreed to join after being defeated. She never tried to flee or escape fearing any attempt would be pushing her limits.
