A dedicated, fully-equipped Tool Service Center in Mumbai, India provides tool repair and overhaul services. We also carry a complete line of all required spare parts.

Strapping Methods PARSTRAP should be applied around the loads at the highest possible tension to take advantage of the strap strength. A good joint is essential to hold the strap ends together. Seal: Strap ends can be sealed using either friction welding or ultrasonic welding. Strap ends may also be sealed using metal seals.

Furus Packaging (Pvt.) Ltd., India, an ISO 9001:2000 company, is the pioneer in the manufacturing of Polyester (PET) Straps in the Indian sub continent. The company was established in 1998 with state-of-the-art technology to produce polyester straps ranging in standard widths from 6 mm up to 32 mm and thickness from 0.4 mm to 1.27 mm with breaking strength in the range of 200 kgs to 1200 kgs and above. The plant can also produce straps of any other size and characteristics (elongation, stiffness, break strength, elastic return) as per customers request. Our in-house Quality Control Department is equipped with the latest computerized systems to check all critical parameters of strapping like Tensile Strength, Break Strength, Elongation and Elasticity Modulus. Total production capacity has increased threefold with the addition of a new production line in 2007.

BENEFITS OF PARSTRAP TM
Product Protection: No sharp edges, so product damages are minimized. It will also not rust and stain packs when exposed to moisture. Shock Loading: Performs well under shock loading since it takes two and half times the energy to break as steel straps of comparable break strength. Elasticity: Has slight elasticity and so maintains strap tension by contracting with the pack in the event of Pack settlement. Low Creep: Has Low Creep properties, which means that the strap tension will not relax enabling packs to be moved safely even after extended periods of storage or transport. Safety: Does not Whiplash when removed, has no sharp edges and so there is no risk of injuries, thus creating a safer work environment for user. Ease of Handling and Storage: Improves productivity being six times lighter than steel for a given length. It also consumes less storage space and substantially reduces manual labour. Weather Resistance: Virtually unaffected by weather and harsh environment. It is resistant to ultraviolet rays and holds tension even in extreme temperature and humidity. APPLICATIONS OF PARSTRAP TM
Unitization & Palletization
Unitized load is the most economical and accepted method of transporting material today and PARSTRAP strapping is one of the most popular unitization materials in the market. Strapping with PARSTRAP during palletizing is effective for stabilizing unstable loads throughout the distribution cycle.

Bricks & Tiles

The bundling of bricks by PARSTRAP has become the most popular method for unitizing bricks since it provides the sustained tension to maintain the integrity of these unpalletized loads without causing damage.

Baling Plants
High tensile strength coupled with controlled elongation, cost competitiveness, ease of handling are some of reasons why PARSTRAP has become the preferred choice for fiber, cotton and jute industries replacing baling wire. PARSTRAP does not have any sharp edges and also does not rust and damage the product.
