Introduction
This document aims at explaining the Self-Registration process on ARC-IB and the configuration
checks required.

Contents
1. crypto.jar
2. ofs.jceks

Steps for Configuration


1. There are two necessary files, “crypto.jar” and “ofs.jceks”, which will be provided with the R12
rd
release, under the 3 Party\Self_Register directory.

2. Check whether the right directories are given in the file “ofs-server.config” in the path
“jboss\server\default\deploy\selfregister.war\WEB-INF\conf”. For example, if the installation
directory is C: then the value of temenos.arc.security.crypto.keystore should be set to the
path “C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\3rdParty\Self_Register\ofs.jceks”.

3. Start the following 4 agents:

1 startjboss.bat To start the application server


2 startselfregisteragent.bat To access the Self Registration URL (ARC IB)
3 startjagent.bat To check TSA.SERVICE application
4 startjagentARCIB.bat To check new self-registered user can log into ARC
IB (Internet Banking)

4. Login to Browser & ensure that in TSA.SERVICE application TSM service control is in “Start”
status.

5. In TSA.SERVICE application for BNK/PW.MAPPING & BNK/PW.PROCESSING service control


field should be in “Auto” status.

6. Then login to the respective area in teraterm & start the TSM using the following option
START.TSM –DEBUG

This is to find out the tSA agent number for PW.MAPPING & PW.PROCESSING e.g.

7. Once the TSM service is started both the services PW.MAPPING & PW.PROCESSING should
be manually launched as shown.

e.g. tSA 19 for PW.PROCESSING

Similarly, start relevant tSA agent for PW.PROCESSING

Then open Internet Explorer and navigate to the following URL and click „Register for Internet
Banking’ : http://127.0.0.1:9095/ARCIB/servlet/BrowserServlet

The below is the Self Registration Page. Click ‘Proceed’.

8. Now enter the required details.

Customer Number has to be valid T24 Customer ID. Rest details are not verified. Note the
login ID generated e.g. above 1115022011527. Here the user ID generated is a combination
of Customer number and the system date, the same will be available in External User List.

Once you have entered all the details. Click the „Fish Eye‟ (glass bubble) on the image to
proceed e.g.

Click „Refresh‟ if not able to find „Bubble‟.

9. After entering the details, clicking the „Fish eye‟ gives this screen.

10. Click „Status Enquiry‟ and enter the „Customer ID‟

Click the „Fish Eye‟ (glass bubble) on the image to proceed.

11. You should see this screen, if Self Register is working

12. Click on this icon to go the Login Page of Internet Banking

13. Enter the User ID and click (No need to enter password for 1 time login)

14. Password change screen will be displayed. In local host, sometimes the login id takes a moment
to get activated, because of the agents running in T24 within your machine. If you get an error,
try after 1 minute.

16. Try now with the new login ID and password. The home page will display:

Troubleshooting:
Please ensure that the files “local_policy.jar” and “US_export_policy.jar” are present in the following
paths:

1. C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\3rdParty\jdk1.6.0_18\lib\security
2. C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\3rdParty\jdk1.6.0_18\jre\lib\security
3. C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\3rdParty\jre6\lib\security
