Our Mission
For over 56 years, LICADD has successfully delivered evidence-based programs designed to prevent and treat substance abuse and addiction. With offices in Mineola, Ronkonkoma and Riverhead, LICADD offers crisis intervention, screening, brief interventions, referrals to treatment (SBIRT), and planned family interventions to local residents struggling with addiction. Our prevention programs include the Too Good for Drugs program, parent workshops, alcohol education classes, and professional trainings. Our Employee Assistance Program serves 60,000 employees and their families, providing confidential assistance, supervisory training and critical incident stress debriefing (CISD).
