Letter dated 27 October 2014 from the Chair of the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) concerning Al-Qaida and associated individuals and entities addressed to the President of the Security Council
I have the honour to transmit herewith the sixteenth report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team established pursuant to resolution 1526 (2004), which was submitted to the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) concerning Al-Qaida and associated individuals and entities, in accordance with paragraph (a) of annex I to resolution 2083 (2012). I should be grateful if the present letter and the report could be brought to the attention of the members of the Security Council and issued as a document of the Council. (

I have the honour to transmit to you the sixteenth report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, pursuant to resolution 2161 (2014). The Monitoring Team notes that the document of reference is the English original. I should like to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of the Monitoring Team in preparing the report. Both the experts and the staff assigned to support the Team worked intensively to prepare the report, which draws extensively on country visits and other information provided by Member States. (
