East Lake Washington Boulevard will close for two consecutive weekends with an eastbound SR 520 closure added on the second weekend
 
Construction activities
WSDOT and city of Seattle crews will work around the clock to replace old water and electrical utility lines. Crews will close East Lake Washington Boulevard (LWB) to work in three main areas:
2. LWB and 24th Avenue East intersection:
 Crews will excavate the roadway, install electrical conduit across the intersection and repave the roadway. Crews will also continue to install drainage pipes that connect to the existing system.  All work will comply with city of Seattle temporary noise variance requirements and our construction best management practices.  Trucks will be delivering and hauling materials within the construction zone. Neighbors dump trucks, compactors, paving machines, light plantsand other large equipment.should use alternative routes and on-street parking withinthe neighborhood. All SR 520 on- and off-ramps will remain open from May 29 to June 1 and all westboundSR 520 on- and off-ramps will remain open from June 5 to June 8.
