65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-3.5Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act. Provides that the redevelopment project in the TIF district created by an ordinance that wasadopted on January 28, 1992 by the City of East Peoria must be completed by December 31 of the35th year (now, the 23rd year) after the year in which the ordinance was adopted. Effectiveimmediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the engrossed bill with thefollowing change. Further amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act in the IllinoisMunicipal Code. Provides that the redevelopment project in the TIF district created by an ordinancethat was adopted on December 14, 1998 by the City of Carlyle must be completed by December 31 of the 35th year (now, the 23rd year) after the year in which the ordinance was adopted. Effectiveimmediately.
