To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for a limitation on the resettlement of refugees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘States’ Right of Ref-
4
ugee Refusal Act of 2015’’.

SEC. 2. LIMITATION ON RESETTLEMENT.

Section 412 of the Immigration and Nationality Act
7
(8 U.S.C. 1522) is amended by adding at the end the fol-
8
lowing:

.—Notwith-

standing any other provision of this section, the Director
2
or the Federal agency administering subsection (b)(1) may
3
not resettle any refugee or coordinate placement of any
4
refugee in a State when that State government has com-
5
municated to the Director that the State government does
6
not accede to the resettlement or placement of refugees
7
in that State.’’.
