OvertimePolitics.com Florida Republican Primary Poll - Jan. 2 - Jan. 5, 2016  ______________________________________________________________________
Donald Trump holds an 11 point lead over Ted Cruz in Florida - 32-21%. The March 15th primary states are going to be make or break for the top three candidates of Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio. Many of them on the Republican side, starting on the 15th, will be awarding their delegates via a winner-take-all system, giving the winner a much more tangible prize than news coverage. Florida offers up 99 delegates to the candidate who receives the most votes statewide. Just 3 points behind Cruz is Marco Rubio, who is from Florida, but still trails the front runner significantly. Jeb Bush almost cracks a double digit percentage of support, also hailing from the state. Beyond the top 4, there isn’t much to convince most people that the lower candidates will even be in the race for Florida, since Super Tuesday two weeks prior will probably knock at least one or two out. This poll was conducted by telephone to include 428 likely Republican Primary voters, with a margin of error of 4.8%. Phone numbers were selected at random through public phone records and cell phone lists. Likely Republican Primary voters were asked the following question: 1.
