BACKGROUND
"C#$ is seeing a Policy Analyst to join its Education Policy Project, which aims to increase the school readiness and achie*ement of #atino students through policy and program solutions- )oused in the ;ffice of $esearch, Ad*ocacy, and #egislation, "C#$<s highly respected policy analysis and ci*il engagement di*ision, the Education Policy Project has a trac record of policy change, ad*ancing wor atall phases of the policy process including de*elopment, legislati*e de1ate, and regulatory action- As a leading ad*ocate on education policy encompassing the perspecti*es of #atinos and English language learners, "C#$ has led or wored in coalition with organi%ations on legislation such as the reauthori%ation of )ead +tart and the Elementary and +econdary Education Act &E+EA', among others- ;*er the next few years, the Policy Analyst will primarily 1e engaged in woring on =>? education issues including the implementation of the newly signed E*ery +tudent +ucceeds Act- !he Policy Analystis responsi1le for pro*iding policy analysis examining the impact of education proposals and pro*iding feed1ac and policy options that will 1enefit *ulnera1le students- !he position will wor closely with colleagues in "C#$<s Education programs component-
