law,includingclaimsthatfirstariseaftertheexecution
of
thisAgreement.6.ByentryintothisAgreement,HBOE,itssuperintendent,officers,agents,andoremployeesinnowayadmittoanywrongdoing,orliabilitytoCUTLERHODGMANandthisAgreementshallnotbeconstruedasanadmission
of
wrongdoing,liability,ordiscriminationbyHBOE,itssuperintendent,officers,agents,and/oremployees.Further,byentryintothisAgreement,CUTLERHODGMANinnowayadmitstoanywrongdoingorliability.
7.TheBoardunderstandsandaffirmsitsobligationtocontinuetoprovidea
vigorouslegaldefenseforalllegalmatterswhereinCUTLERHODGMANhasbeenorwillbeindividuallynamedinherofficialcapacityinaccordancewiththe
provisions
of
Conn.Gen.Stat.Section10-235.
8.CUTLER
HODGMAN
shallnotmake
any
derogatorystatementsordisparaging
remarkswhatsoevertoanyoneregardingtheActingSuperintendent.TheActingSuperintendentshallnotmakeanyderogatorystatementsordisparagingremarks
whatsoevertoanyoneregardingCUTLERHODGMAN.9.ThisSettlementAgreementshallbeinterpretedinaccordancewiththeplain
meaning
of
itstermsandnotstrictlyfororagainstany
of
thepartieshereto.
