THE COURT: Okay. And this is the time set for sentencing. Are we ready to proceed? MR. MANN: Yes, Your Honor. THE COURT: Okay. Mr. Galazin, am I saying your name right? THE DEFENDANT: Yes, you are.
THE COURT: Okay. Sir, I’ve got
a guilty plea agreement in front of me which was filed in open court on March 31
st
of 2017 indicating that you had agreed to plead guilty to committing the crime of Battery With Use of a Deadly Weapon, a Category B Felony in Violation of NRS 200.481. Sir, did you sign this agreement?
THE DEFENDANT: Yes, I did, ma’am.
THE COURT: Prior to signing the agreement did you have an opportunity to review the agreement; did you review it and understand the terms? THE DEFENDANT: Yes, I did. THE COURT: Okay. I am adjudging you guilty of committing the crime of Battery with Use of a Deadly Weapon, a Category B Felony in violation of NRS 200.481. And I see that the State has no opposition to probation if you have no prior felony or gross misdemeanor convictions. And if my memory serves me right, you

Also, the State is not opposed to dismissal of the remaining counts after

MR. MANN: Correct. THE COURT: -- that? THE DEFENDANT: Yes. THE COURT: Okay. There are other agreements set forth in the guilty plea
agreement but those are the highlights. That’s quite a gift.
THE DEFENDANT: Yes, it is. THE COURT:
Okay. I’d like to hear from the State.
MR. MOREO: Your Honor, we agreed to make no recommendation. THE COURT: Okay. Yeah, I see that now. All right. Counsel.
MR. MANN: Thank you, Your Honor. I’m gonna actually let Mr. Ga

and then if you don’t mind I could speak after him.

THE COURT: Okay. That’s fine.
MR. MANN: Thank you.
THE DEFENDANT: I’m terribly sorry. You know, I’m a really good person and
I wound up in a pretty bad situation. And I used some serious error in judgment getting myself out of that situation a
nd I’m really sorry for what I did
. And I know definitely will not ever find myself in that situation again. THE COURT: Okay. How long have you been sober? THE DEFENDANT: Most of my life. THE COURT: Okay. Well, when was the last time you consumed alcohol? THE DEFENDANT: November 11
