A Statement from The Brenda Strafford Foundation

The Brenda Strafford Foundation and Wentworth Manor is deeply saddened to announce that yesterday afternoon, we learned of the passing of a resident at Wentworth Manor (The Court) as a result of their illness, with COVID-19 as a contributing factor. We extend our sincerest condolences to the family, loved ones, and all those that knew this resident, including the residents and staff at Wentworth Manor who lived with and cared for him. We know this will come as difficult news at what is already a challenging time for everyone at Wentworth Manor impacted by the current outbreak. We want to thank all of our residents, families, staff, and our community, for your ongoing courage, commitment and compassion. The team at Wentworth Manor, and all of The Brenda Strafford Foundation, remains steadfastly dedicated to providing the best possible care and services to all of our residents and families under these difficult circumstances. Thank you for your ongoing patience, understanding and support during this extraordinarily challenging time for us all.
