This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Security Clearance Im-

provement Act of 2021’’.

UAL’S MEMBERSHIP IN, OR ASSOCIATION

WITH, ORGANIZATIONS SPREADING CON-

SPIRACY THEORIES REGARDING THE GOV-

ERNMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN THE AC-

TIVITIES OCCURRING AT THE UNITED

STATES CAPITOL ON JANUARY 6, 2021.

N
G
ENERAL
.—Not later than 60 days after the
12
date of enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office
13
of Personnel Management shall modify section 29 (relat-
14
ing to associations) of Standard Form 86 (commonly re-
15
ferred to as ‘‘SF–86’’) to include the following questions:
16
(1) ‘‘Have you ever been a member of, associ-
17
ated with, or knowingly engaged in activities con-
18
ducted by an organization or movement that spreads
19
conspiracy theories and false information about the
20
United States Government?’’.
21
(2) ‘‘Did you participate in the activities occur-
22
ring at the United States Capitol on January 6,
23
2021, or in any similar activity?’’.
