Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Lady Liberty Act of
4
2021’’.

SEC. 2. MINIMUM NUMBER OF REFUGEES TO BE ADMITTED.

Section 207(a) of the Immigration and Nationality
7
Act (8 U.S.C. 1157(a)) is amended by inserting after ‘‘in
8
any fiscal year after fiscal year 1982 shall be such number
9
as the President determines,’’ the following: ‘‘except that
10
in any fiscal year after fiscal year 2022, such number may
11
not be less than 125,000, without regard to whether or
12
not the President makes any determination’’.
