The facility was the brainchild of Chairman and CEO Linden Nelson and investors Taubman Company founder A. Alfred Taubman, Walbridge CEO John Rakolta Jr. and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment Co-CEO Ari Emanuel.

There will be no Valentine’s Day card for Davisburg resident Carolyn Moroz this year, but if what her husband David says about her is true, she’s not likely to complain. “I have no way to get her (a card) this year,” said David, who is still strug-gling to regain mobility since a double knee replace-ment three months ago. The Oakland Press asked its readers to submit stories of the sweetest things their sweethearts have ever done for them. For David, it’s the way Carolyn has cared for him since complications from his surgery drastically changed their lives. Carolyn works for Chrysler and is involved in a “significant project,” David said. “Despite her work demands, her smiling face arrived at the hospital very early each morning in order to help me with basic needs, needs that could be met by the nursing staff but the kinds of things no one would real-ly want a stranger to assist with,” David wrote.
