CREW: Defense Information Systems Agency: Regarding White House Communications Agency

On May 3, 2007, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). CREW sought records from a component of DISA-- the White House Communications Agency (WHCA)-- of all emails that came into or went out of WHCA-controlled or maintained email systems from gwb43.com, rnchq.org, and georgebush.com. CREW also sought telephone logs of all calls made by Karl Rove through a WHCA-controlled or operated switchboard to numbers associated with the Republican National Committee.
