    The Pesach 2021 season has arrived!

    Since many of us are still stuck indoors due to the awful pandemic, why not do something special with me for the Live Internet Studies this week?

    Forget Saturday Night Live! (LOL) On Saturday night March 20th we hosted Pesach - Season of our Deliverance ("Movie Night Live" 2021) by watching 6 short Passover-related videos of mine (average: 7 min each). The entire show lasted 90 minutes!

    Video topics we watched:

    • ARE ISRA’EL AND THE CHURCH THE SAME THING? DOES GOD STILL HAVE A PLAN FOR ISRA’EL?
    • SHOULD CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE PASSOVER?
    • WHAT DOES PAUL MEAN WHEN HE SAYS TO NOT LET ANYONE JUDGE US IN REGARD TO KEEPING THE SABBATH? (HOW DO WE MESSIANICS INTERPRET COLOSSIANS 2:16?)
    • WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIBERTY?
    • GENESIS 17:9-14; ROMANS 2:25-29 ”THE POWER OF A CIRCUMCISED HEART”
    • DEUTERONOMY 10:16 “CIRCUMCISE YOUR HEART”

    After each video I stopped and opened up the microphones to allow participants to share their thoughts and questions about each video subject before moving to the next video!

    I have a lot to say about these issues but I would love to hear what you have to say about these Torah topics instead! Leave me comments in the space below the video.

    This is the Torah Observant "Shomer Mitzvot" series. In Judaism, safeguarding and keeping the Torah is central to performing the will of HaShem. Indeed, as properly understood from HaShem’s point of view, the whole of Torah was given to bring its followers to the "goal" of acquiring the kind of faith in HaShem that leads to placing one’s trusting faithfulness in the One and only Son of HaShem, Yeshua HaMashiach. To this end, the Torah has prophesied about him since as early as the book of Genesis (3:15), and continues to speak of him until its conclusion in Revelation (22:20). In this capacity, the Torah acts like its etymological counterpart "yarah" (an archery term) in that it "teaches" its adherents how to properly identify with HaShem by helping them to "reach the mark.” To be sure, one of the most common Hebrew verbs used to identify sin “chatah” literally means, "to miss the mark.”
