MISSION

VISION
• We owe it to the people of Hamisi – to the men and women who can’t put a meal on the table, to the student who can’t report to school due to lack of school or college fees, to all who are disillusioned by too many broken promises from our leaders, to the professionals who are saddled with debt because they have to assist those whom misappropriated funds cannot reach – to be the change Hamisi needs. As I think of the challenges we face, I’m guided by my vision for the Hamisi I want to live in, the Hamisi I want to raise my children in and the Hamisi I seek to serve. I believe in a Hamisi where power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few. I believe in a Hamisi where people earn a living and wealth and resources are truly shared. I believe in a Hamisi where everyone can access job opportunities, with an agricultural revolution that goes beyond subsistence to create jobs and a meaningful livelihood. I believe in a Hamisi where the opportunity of world-class education and the guarantee of excellent health care are a birthright for all not the preserve of a few. I believe in a Hamisi where families who need a home are not left without shelter, and resources for the vulnerable are provided to those who need them most. I believe in a Hamisi where people have power in their communities, opportunities are given on merit, liberty is real and we break the hopeless cycle of crime within our commercial centres. I believe in a Hamisi where roads, clean piped water, electricity and other utilities are available to all areas. And it’s because I know this hope for Hamisi is shared by you, needed by our people and therefore YOU AND I together have a duty to win. I’m asking for your support and your vote come 2012. In the meantime, I’m asking you to join me in building the movement for change that Hamisi needs.
