4.1-USE ACTIX-Display parameters

DISPLAY PARAMETERS:
You should ask questions
-Scanner or Mobile? -UL or DL? -When and Why occurred? -To whom it was addressed? -Who sent the message? -Why was sent? -CCH or DCH? -Parameter or Event? -Key parameters of the message? -On RRC?

Actix Module — 26

4.2-USE ACTIX-Display events
Events are triggered by measurements or by higher layers(UTRAN or NAS messages) -events triggered by measurements:
–type1(intra-frequency) –

-events triggered by higher layers:
The event ―pdp context activation successful‖ for example of the session management of Layer 3 is transmitted over the air interface by a DL_DCCH message Downlink direct transfer with all the parameters requested for the transfer: throughput in UL and DL, min and max, BLER ,SDU, PDU, peak values etc.

ype2(inter-frequency) –type3(inter RAT) –type4 traffic( FACH to DCH) –type5 –type6 (UE internal measurements: RX-TX time difference for outer loop power control, power balancing measurements)

-always follow the mobile state: idle, connected etc and also the call steps:
RRC Con Req.,RRC Con. setup,RRC Con setup complete, service request, service accepted, authentication request, authentication accepted, security command, security complete, CC setup, CC call proceed, RB setup, RB setup complete, CC alert, CC Connect.

Step1: Select parameter Step2:right click on it Step3: ―display on table‖ Step4: select next parameter Step5: drag&drop it on the same table Step6: and so on.. Available sheets: Series, histograms and statistics
Can NOT be saved as Excel but for this There is another feature as presented on the next slide

4.4-PREDEFINED REPORTS AND FAVORITES
>

Favorites: we already discussed about forms, analysis, states Another trick that you will probably use is: monitor a list of KPI given by the RNO manager. For this you select the parameters on the left size, right click on it and choose add to favorites. Do the same for all KPI. You are lucky because you do this just once. Every new trace you will load will have a quick view ONLY of this parameters in the favorites sheet( it is on the bottom side of your screen, left corner)
