How did you attract/address your audience? Front cover
•Quality image shows company is professional •Image and girl involved show its attracting urban youthful people who live music. •List of bands featured inclines the type of artists that the magazine would feature. These artists appeal to the consumers and would lead to consumers buying the magazine.

• Use of a fair amount of text (consumers interested in music not so much pictures) • Informal style of interview which makes audience feel level in importance with artist. Publisher allows “Upcoming” to plan the features of its magazine through mock ups Need to be well planned. Makes things stay on task, make the actual final contents page for example easier as they have an idea of what they want it to look like. Can create text boxes which are easy to move around and keep structure.

• Can create pie graphs which show information that was found through questionnaire- market research. These are easy to read and are vital for showing results from market research Allows magazine to make decisions based on market research.

Looking back at your task, what do you feel you have learnt from the progression of it to the full product?

• The need for constant feedback and drafts •importance of cloning on Adobe for example cloning makes sure there
are not a variety of different shades of the colour. •Importance of typical media conventions. Increases professionalism through page numbers •Importance of using colours which do not clash, makes it easy to read will satisfy consumers and not put them off.

•Importance of identifying target market. Determines content of the magazine and the pictures they will use.
