- ACTIVE VOICE - PASSIVE VOICE

PASSIVE VOICE

indicates that the SUBJECT IS THE RECEIVER OF THE ACTION is being played by the kids Basketball

Only transitive verbs have voice. > transitive verb has a direct object. DO answers the question what or who right after the verb. Maya likes Sir Chief. She needed the money so badly. *** If the doer of the action is vague or unknown, the passive form of the verb is used.
