THANKSGIVING DAY
By Miss Poly
INTRODUCTION (MICHELA)
The Pilgrims were a group of people that were separated from the Church of England and wanted to purify it by living an austere life, doing a lot of hard work and having little fun and celebrations. They were persecuted and decided to leave England and go to Amsterdam, where the story was the same. With a lot of hope, they left Europe in order to start a free life in the New World.
