INTRODUCTION
Wireless led is based on I -Light technology.
Uses visible led for simultaneous signaling & communication. Uses high brightness led ( AlGaAs , AlInGaP ). Led light transmit data to the receiver.
INTRODUCTION
Uses line of sight(LOS) property
Small range transmission(20m). Uses FM modulation for transmission. Initial speeds will be about 1 to 10Mb/s
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

RECEIVER:
Photo-Detector : 1. Detect a light signal 2. Convert it into an electrical signal. Limiting pre-amplifier: Amplify the electrical signal . Data-reproducing circuit: Reconstruct the square wave. 1. Differentiator :Produce pulses according to the square wave.

APPLICATIONS
LED traffic light 1. Provide location or directional information to pedestrians or people with visual impairments. 2. LED traffic light can be used for signalling & as audio broadcasting device.

ADVANTAGE
14
ADVANTAGE
Minimum heat generation. Resistance to humidity
15
DISADVANTAGE
Led performance depends on ambient temperature. Photo-detector current is proportional to the received power.
16
CONCLUSION
High brightness LEDs are opening up a number of new applications. It can be used as an information beacon for short-distance radio communication. Concurrent use of LEDs for simultaneous signalling and communications will open up many new applications.
