often by abduction from the torso.+ What is Stretching?  Stretching is a form of exercise in which a certain skeletal muscle (or muscle group) is volatry stretched. in order to better the muscle's elasticity .

+ The Importance of stretching before exercise .

+  Stretching after a work out increases your flexibility & range of motion & prevents muscle injury & cramps. The Importance of stretching After exercise .

+ Static Stretching  Static stretching is used to stretch the muscles to a point of discomfort when the body is at rest .

knees bent Your arms out to the side parallel with the ground and the palms of the hand facing forward Start stretching the arms back as far as possible You should feel the stretched mucle across your chest    .+ Examples of static stretching Chest Stretch  Stand as tall as you can. feet wider than shoulder-width apart.

+ Examples of static stretching Biceps Stretch   Stand tall. knees bent Your arms out to the side until parallel with the ground and the palms of the hand facing forward Circle the hands so the palms face to the rear Stretch the arms as back as far as possible    You should feel the stretch across your chest and in the biceps . feet wider than shoulder-width apart.

allowing your upper back to relax You should feel the stretch between your shoulder blades   .+ Examples of static stretching Upper Back Stretch  Stand tall. feet wider than shoulder-width apart. knees slightly bent Weave together your fingers on both hands and push your hands as far away from your chest as possible.
