A Interface Introduction  A interface in WCDMA R4 network MSOFTX3000 BICC RANAP GMSC Server PSTN / ISDN PSTN / ISDN UTRAN TDM/G.711 BSS TDM RTP(AAL2)/AMR IP (ATM) BackBone Interface A 5 Internal Use .711 H.248 BSSAP AAL2 MGW MGW GSM/ /R99 R99PLMN PLMN GSM TDM/G.

A Interface Introduction   A interface used for message exchange between MSOFTX3000 and BSC Signaling message transferred on A interface are borne on TDM BSSAP SCCP MTP3 MTP2 MTP1 Protocol Stack on A interface 6 Internal Use .

for one office direction the CIC is unique and must be same with that opposite office. 7 Internal Use . TID is time slot TID CIC resource of MGW. It has corresponding relationship with actual circuit time slot. MSOFTX3000 and BSC assign circuits through CIC. MSOFTX3000 control TDM resource in MGW depend on TID. the amount of TID is equal to the number of time slot on all TDM interface boards. For 2G system. To be brief. the number is unique. It has corresponding relationship with TID.Relative Concepts TID is termination ID. The TID of MGW and the CIC of BSC can correspond to the same physical circuit. VMGW use TID to indicate one E1 time slot. CIC (circuit identification code) is a indictor of one E1 time slot. TID is one 64K A interface circuit. In one VMGW.CIC is one 64K A interface circuit.
