Aphrodite

Aphrodite was the Goddess of Love and Beauty. She was born in the sea and she spent long time there. She had a shell in the photos The most famous story about Aphrodite said that she started the Trojan war.

 Aphrodite was the daughter of Talasa and Ouranos. Ares was her boyfriend. She had a son : Eros. She had friends: Ares, Eros and Peitho (the goddess of seduction). They were her favourites!

Apollo

Apollos Latin name is Apollo.

Apollo was from Greece. He was the God of Music, Reason and Light. He never said a lie.

Apollos parents were Zeus and Late.

He was not married. He had a twin brother, Artemis. The twins adored their mother.

 He was very protective but also exhausting. All the people of Ancient Greece brought gifts to Apollo, and asked for advice in exchange.

He had a weapon, it was an arch. Apollo needed an oracle. An oracle was a person who predicted and interpreted the future.

His tree was the laurel. The crow was his favourite bird. The dolphin was his favourite animal.

*ATHENE/MINERVA*

Athenes father was Zeus, and she hadnt got a mum, because one day when Zeus had a headache, Zeuss friend hit her with an axe on her head and from her head Athene was born completely armed. All these happenned because he swallowed his wife

Athene was the Goddess of: 1.War 2.Strategy 3.Knowledge

She never fell in love, and she never had a son or daughter because she was half male and half female. She spent most time in the war and living with her father (Zeus) in Olympus mountain.

Her weapon was a lance and she protected with a shield.

She was famous because she went out of Zeus head.

Eros

His Latin name is Mars and the Roman name is Cupid.

Eros was from Greece. He was the God of Love.

Eros was Aphrodites and Hephaestus son.

He did not have children, wifes or siblings. He had a weapon. His weapon was a bow.

According to tradition, Eros was principally the patron of male love.

Eros was very angry with Apollo for making fun of his archery skills.

 He was usually with his mum, Aphrodite. He sometimes appeared riding a dolphin or lion. His mother Aphrodites was the Goddess of Love, and his father Ares, the God of War. Poor kid! He was one of the oldest gods, he lived longer than other gods.

He created Okeanos and Tethys that were very early Greek territories.

The word EROTIC", meaning sexual love, comes from the name of Eros.

ZEUS

Latin name: Zeus Roman name: Jupiter

Zeus was from Greece. Zeus had two brothers and three sisters. His parents were: Cronus and Rhea.

He was famous because he was the God of Sky and Weather. For people in Greece weather was very important.

Zeus had many powers, and a winged horse: Pegasus. Zeus could speak, and sound like anybody. He could change his shape and look like anybody

Zeus wife was Hera. Zeus had three sons: Ares, Hermes and Apollo, and a daughter: Athenea

He was the king of the Gods. The most powerful god. When the gods voted Zeus to be the king , Zeus remained king forever. No one tried to voted him out, because Zeus was the most powerful god of all.

His favourites were: Poseidon, Hares, Demeter, Hestia and Hera. He usually had a lightning on his hand.

Latin name: Neptunus. Roman name: Neptune

Poseidon lived in Greece (Athens). Poseidon was the God of Sea. He spent most of his time in water. He was famous because with his hand he created islands.

Poseidon married the daughter of Nereu and Doris.

Amphitrite

Poseidon's parents were Cronos and Rhea. His brothers were named Zeus, Hades, Hestia, Demeter and Hera. Poseidon's friends were Theophane ,Canace, Melantho, Tritonis, Libya, Thoosa (Nereid), Aithra and Medusa

Poseidon had deep blue eyes and green hair.

He was moody and restless.

Poseidon was very very powerful.
