HOW TO LEAD SRI SUBRAMANIAR THUROPATHAI AMMAN TEMPLE TO PERFECTION? For many years, passing the good information to temple was a big issue for me. Passing without negativity is a big problem. The committee is made out of many brains, letting all think in a same direction is a big task.

In business when we want to improve things ,we do a SWOT analysis to take account of the current sisutation S. Strength W. Weakness O. Opportunities T. Threats Proper correct analysis will help us overcome our problems, correct failures develop weakness into strengths make use of opportunities & remove any threats

The Big Q is Are we going to do what we have been doing for the past 20 years or are we going to have a change ? What we are doing is just monotony .We come for meeting every month argue on things that have been going on for many years. We just pass some accounts. We have a few thiruvals

The fact is the temple can run itself , it doesnt need a 17 member team.
IS THIS THE ONLY DUTY OF THE COMMITTEE? OR More We have built a great temple .But does a great temple measured by just sheer size only

Opportunities
1)visitors from all over country 2)many prayers sessions 3) 2 main thiruvalas 4) a lot of family devotes attached to this temple 5)we have ample land to in front for temple development

Weakness I have not put down weakness as I dont want this article to bring about negative impact Please analyze yourself on the weakness of temple. Based on the weakness can we then correct it & improve Please do your own list

Threats 1)people moving away from temple because of tarnished image 2) other temples offering better services 3) car parking a big problem 4) certain individuals /groups want to take over temple for own benefit 5) many swamji growing to proclaim as god

The question is we have so many opportunity, we have a Tan Sri, we have to 2 Datuks All are Doctors- they have many doctors who support them Why is that we are not on the top in the list of best managed temples. What can we do?

FOR ANY TEMPLE TO DEVELOP TRUST IN PUBLIC TRANSPARENCY MUST COME ABOUT IN TEMPLE AFFAIRS PUT UP PHOTOS OF OFFICE BEARERS WITH CONTACT DETAILS I WOULD PUT UP THE ACCOUNTS OF EVERY MONTH ON THE NOTICE BOARD OF TEMPLE BY THE 1ST WEEK OF THE MONTH I WOULD MAKE A DUTY ROSTER & MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A TEMPLE COMMITTEE MEMBER ON DUTY EVERYDAY 2 OR 3 COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO BE ON DUTY ON SUNDAYS TO BE TOURIST GUIDES EXPLAINING ABOUT OUR TEMPLE ,WE HAVE A WELL BUILT TEMPLE WITH A LOT OF STATUES OF NYANAMARS, SIVA TANDAVAM , MAIN DETIES & SO ON. Training must be provide to temple committee before they can be part of temple tourist guide;

in front of kaparagam so that people can watch prayer from larger screen ( many people block during prayer time) Set up a kindergarten Religious class Tuition class have a secretary training for committee members Have treasurer training for committee members Have a youth team

Buy the land in front of the temple lot 108 . Put up a 4 story building. This will be beside the Buddhist temple building. In the ground floor open up about 20 small stalls shop (like the size of Nadesan chetier shop in town)maybe 15x20 feet) On the top floor I would set up dormitory for foreigners. The 3rd floor will be a place for Hindu visitors especially bus trips from other states to stay1 is male dormitory & 1 is female dormitory. On the top floor is Chairman Room, Meeting room for committee members & a mini hall for small functions Buy the 2nd pc of land lot189 in font of ratham kotai & develop it .we can easily built 10 large shops with the rental of 4-5000rm . the land will

The centre land in front of raja gouprum is for parking & theekuli & so on
Will adopt Kubu Tamil School. Will buy a school bus it will be loaned to a individual entrepreneur who will earn money from bus& maintain the bus but he must send students to temple for afternoon prayers before the students are sent home. The temple has the use the bus on non school days

Vegetarian food will be provided for lunch

Will adopt the tamil & Indian boys society of Gajah Berang secondary school . The boys will be invited for payers & religious class every Friday . Vegetarian food will be provide lunch. The temple will start the formal priest college - the principal will be Siva Sri Ramachandra Gurukal

This will help to standardize the prayer systems. This country in near future will not be able to bring priest from India. Single parents sub committee
