Non-Ionizing Radiation Law
Impact on :
Effective from : 2007
i. regulates the installation and operation of all non-
ionizing radiation sources cellular networks, radio
and television antennas, and electricity networks are
included
ii. Permits have to be obtained from Ministry of
Environmental Protection
iii. Permit to measure radiation services is also to be
obtained
iv. Heavy Penalties are imposed for the violators

The Packaging Law
Impact on :

i. regulate both the production and the processing of
packaging material waste by minimizing packaging
volume, preventing waste dumping, and encouraging
recycling
ii. To recycle 60% of the packaging waste by 2015
iii. 12 companies charged fine of 1.5 million for not
following this law
