Based on Ashoka definition:
Social entrepreneurs are individuals with
innovative solutions to societys most pressing social
problems.

Rather than leaving societal needs to the
government or business sectors, social
entrepreneurs find solutions.

changemakers.net/ is a vibrant community of
young activists, volunteers and social entrepreneurs
from 120 countries.
Global Changemakers are
a. running innovative CAPS
b. shaping policy and
c. access to high level events such as WEF,CGI
I am also a global shaper

1. Green movement
Green Ethiopia association was established in 2007
by volunteers
Tree plantations
awareness raising campaigns and
Public mobilization on environment issues

2. Ethiopian youth climate coalition
Established in 2010 to mobilize youth & youth led
organisations in Ethiopia on climate change issues

create job for youth in forestry, solar tech and

revenue
adapt & transfer appropriate and modern
technologies to communities

the mushroom project empowers women & girls to
produce, consume a& sell proton & vitamin rich
mushroom in their backyard using simple technology
